PotRoast Dinner

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    3 pound pot roast of beef
    2 large potatoes
    2 large stalks of celery
    25-30 medium baby carrots
    Dried basil, garlic, salt to taste
    Hot water

Directions

Peel & cut potatoes into 1-2" chunks.
Cut celery into 1-1/2" pieces.
Add potatoes, celery & baby carrots to the crockpot.
Brown the pot roast in a frying pan.
Put the pot roast on top of the vegetables in the crock pot.
Sprinkle liberally with dried basil, garlic, and salt.
Pour 3/4c hot water over the potroast & vegetables.
Turn on crockpot for 8 hours on low setting.
