Slice-n-bake sugar cookies

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup Splenda for baking
2 egg whites
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
1 3/4 c. wheat flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
MIx butter and Splenda. Beat in eggs and vanilla. In seperate bowl, mix flour, soda, and salt, gradually add to crream mixture. Shape into two 8 inch rolls. Wrap each in wax paper, refrigerate for about 1 hour, or less (dough will be firm) Unwrap and cut into 3/8 inch slices.
Directions
Bake at 375 degrees for about 7-9 minutes, (depending on how soft or crisp you want your cookies to be.) Makes about 3 dozen cookies.
*these are yummy, yummy cookies! They taste even better if you don't bake them as long. They are also great "dunkers" if you let them get crispy!!
