Creamy Hummus

Introduction

I like my hummus creamier and smoother than usually found in supermarkets, so I made some myself! Delicious and good for you, too. I like my hummus creamier and smoother than usually found in supermarkets, so I made some myself! Delicious and good for you, too.
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 can chickpeas (garbanzo beans)
    2 Tbsp Tahini
    1 juice of one lemon
    4 mint leaves
    1 single serving container of Oikos Greek Yogurt
    1 Clove garlic
    1 tsp (or to taste) sea salt
    2 tsp (or to taste) olive oil

Directions

Rinse can of beans and drain well.

Place beans, tahini, lemon juice, mint leaves and yogurt into food processor. Blend well.

In a separate bowl (or with mortar and pestle) sprinkle sea salt over garlic and crush well. Add to bean mix.

Continue blending, adding olive oil and water if necessary, to make a smooth, creamy texture.

Chill well. Serve and enjoy!
