  • I omitted the ramen and added grated carrot and julienned cucumber for freshness and it turned out awesome! - 9/25/11

  • Although I know this is listed as vegetarian, but I was sad to find out it wasn't vegetarian at all. The Chicken packet that comes with the ramen noodles has chicken in it. It's made from dehydrated chicken broth. Its sounds nice, but maybe I can find a substitute or something. - 11/19/10

I made this today using 1/2 the oil and no almonds (because I didn't have any!) How will that change the nutritional value? - 2/25/10

  • My mom used to make this recipe & I had forgotten about it. But I definitely need to do it again! You don't HAVE to bake the noodles, but I bet it'd be even better that way. I've not used vinegar. Just the oil & packet & sugar. I'm not typically a fan of cabbage. but in this recipe it's awesome - 5/5/09
