2 Tbsp olive oil
1.5 onions, chopped
8 medium carrots, chopped
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp salt
pinch cayenne pepper
pepper to taste
Add chopped onion and carrots. Cook till golden brown and tender.
Transfer to a blender with water, cumin, salt, and cayenne. Puree till smooth. Add pepper if desired to bowl. Makes about 7 servings, 1.5 cups each.
