FAMOUS Salad

Introduction

I made this salad recently on an interview I did for SPARKPEOPLE and thought I'd share it with anyone who is interested in a easy, delicious salad. This version uses steak. I made this salad recently on an interview I did for SPARKPEOPLE and thought I'd share it with anyone who is interested in a easy, delicious salad. This version uses steak.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1/2 cup red bell pepper
    1/2 cup asparagus
    4 oz. Steak (top sirloin, or whatever you like)
    3 cups "Fresh Express Tender Ruby Red" salad mix
    2 oz. "Organics" Balsamic Vinaigrette

Directions

Slice red bell pepper.

Grill steak

Grill red bell peppers and asparagus to desired tenderness

Cube steak and chop vegetables, throw on top of salad, add salad dressing. Voila! :-)

I use a George Foreman grill and roast my veggies and steak at one time for approximately 5-6 minutes. You don't have to use the "brands" I listed, but those are what I used to figure the nutritional information.

Makes 1 serving

(You can use less steak, veggies, etc. - I just used those amounts for a reference point. Also, you can substitute chicken for steak)
