The Best Chicken Divan Ever!

Ingredients

    2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breast - cooked and shredded
    2 pounds frozen broccoli
    1 package sharp cheddar cheese (16 ounces)
    1 family size can Campbell's Cream of Chicken soup
    1 1/4 cup Hellman's mayonnaise
    1 - 16 oz container Breakstone's Sour Cream
    1/2 cup plus 1 T cooking sherry
    1 T lemon juice
    2 T butter
    Bread Crumbs (fresh) I used approximately 2/3 loaf french bread, sliced and slightly stale

Directions

Combine soup, mayo, sour cream, sherry, and lemon juice. Set sauce aside. Pulse bread and butter in food processer until fine crumbs are formed. You may substitue store bought bread crumbs for the fresh.

Layer thawed broccoli in bottom of a deep 13x9+ baking dish. Layer shredded chicken on top of broccoli. Top with sauce, pushing sauce down into the chicken with a spoon. Top with cheese and then bread crumbs.

Bake for 1 hour at 400 degrees or until bubbly. If the bread crumbs get too dark, cover gently with foil until finished baking.
