1 cup whole wheat flour
1 cup yellow cornmeal
2/3 cup evaporated cane sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 egg white
1 cup nonfat milk
1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
2. In a large bowl, combine dry ingredients. Mix in egg, milk and applesauce until well combined. Pour batter into prepared pan.
3. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, or until done.
