GRAVY (MADE FROM VEGGIES) USE ON RICE OR POTATOES

Introduction

This gravy is so good and good for you. It has NO meat or meat juices. It is made from all veggies. Makes enough to go with 5 1/2 cups of rice. You can use it on potatoes too. Ingredients

    Peppers, sweet, red, YELLOW, GREEN,ORANGE, sliced, CHOPPED 1 cup
    * Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    * Mushrooms, canned, 1 cup
    * Olive Oil, 2 tbsp
    *1 TEASPOON WHOLE WHEAT FLOUR
    *1 teaspoon of each Garlic powder, onion powder, season all salt.
    *2 teaspoons of parsley flakes
    1 CUP OF WATER

Directions

In a med non stick skillet pour in the olive oil. Heat. pour in the bell peppers stir fry them till they start to tender, pour in the onion and stir them around cook until they start to tender then add then mushrooms. stir often don't let it burn. When veggies are tender enough for you. Pour in the seasons. Stir pour in the ww flour stir let it stick to skillet a little. make sure it browns good. then pour in 1 cup of water. simmer until the gravy is a little thicker and brown. This doesn't make a lot of juice or gravy, but will cover what you put it on.
