Ziti Bake

Introduction

Very good and easy--great with a salad! Very good and easy--great with a salad!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    16 oz pkg. whole wheat penne or ziti noodles
    1 lb lean ground beef
    15 oz container ricotta cheese, fat free
    1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
    1/4 cup chopped parsley
    1 egg, beaten
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp pepper
    32 oz jar spaghetti sauce
    8 oz lowfat mozzarella cheese

Directions

Prepare pasta as label directs, drain and set aside. Brown ground beef in large skillet, remove from heat and drain. Stir in ricotta cheese and next 5 ingredients and 1/2 of spaghetti sauce until well mixed. Add pasta and toss gently to coat well. Spoon into a 9 by 13" pan and pour remaining spaghetti sauce evenly over pasta mixture. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
Bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes.
