Chicken & Rice

Ingredients

    1 can 98% fat free cream of chicken
    1 1/2 cups brown rice (or white)
    2 boneless, skinless chicken breast
    4 cups swanson's 99% fat free chicken broth
    1/2 cup fat free shredded cheddar cheese
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1 tbsp. dried onion flakes

Directions

Boil chicken breast in chicken broth , garlic powder, and dried onions. when cooked take out chicken breast to cool. while cooling add one cup of water to broth and 1 can cream of chicken soup, stir and bring to boil. Add rice and chicken(pulled apart in small pieces)to broth, stir, and place lid on top and turn to simmer for about 20 minutes. sprinkle ated cheese on top & place lid back on til it melts.
makes 8 1-cup serving
