1 can of black beans, drained and rinsed 1 cup cooked brown rice 1 piece of whole wheat bread, crumbled 1 egg Spices to taste
Mash beans mostly but not completely. Add rice and mix, then add spices and egg. Add bread crumbs until the mixture can be formed into patties. Form into 4 patties and either fry for 4 minutes on each side or bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes on each side.
I like to put cheese on them afterwards and microwave for a few seconds so it melts!
