Mexican Ground Beef

Ingredients

1/2 lb extra-lean ground beef
18 grams (1/2 package) Old El Paso Taco Seasoning
1/4 cup salsa
1/3 red pepper
2 cloves garlic
Directions
1. In a large pot, brown the ground beef. Meanwhile, chop the pepper and crush the garlic.
2. When the meat is cooked, add the pepper, garlic, salsa, seasoning mix, and 1/4 to 1/2 cup water. Let it simmer until the water has boiled off.
3. Serve over rice or in flatbreads. You can sprinkle green onion on top, or add a small amount of sour cream or cream cheese (not included in nutritional info).
