Oatmeal Protein Waffles

Introduction

This is a very hearty, high protein, healthy, and delicious waffle recipe. My 2 year old daughter just loves them. This recipe makes about 3 waffles, but you can add more milk to thin out the batter to make more less dense waffles. I used whole milk in my recipe which can easily be substituted for lower fat milk. I also used a vanilla flavored whey protein powder which adds great flavor and a bit of sweetness to the waffles especially with the cinnamon. This recipe could also be used to make pancakes too. Ingredients

    1 Cup Old Fashioned Oats
    2 Scoops Whey Protein
    2 TBS Groung Flax Seed
    2 TBS Wheat Germ
    1/2 Milk
    2 Large Eggs
    1 TBS Vegtable Oil
    2 TSP Cinnamon (or more if you'd like)

Directions

Place all ingredients into blender and blend until smooth. Pour batter onto heated waffle iron and wait for the waffle iron light to click off and Enjoy!
