Ingredients

    2 cups all purpose flour
    2 t baking powder
    1 t baking soda
    1/2 t salt
    3 T sugar
    2 large eggs, lightly beaten
    3 cups buttermilk
    4 T plus 1/2 t unsalted butter, melted

Directions

Heat an electric griddle to 375 or a heavy skillet until very hot. Whisk together flour, baking powder, soda, salt, and sugar in a medium bowl. Add eggs, buttermilk, and 4 tablespoons butter; whisk to combine. Batter should have small to medium lumps.
