APPLE ONION LOIN CHOPS

Ingredients

    2 pork loin chops [4 oz each] trimmed of fat
    2 tsp spicy brown mustard

    1 small apple, cored, peeled, thin sliced
    1/2 cup sliced onion
    1/2 tsp ground savory

    Optional: Parsley Sprigs

Directions

Preheat non-stick skillet. Spray with PAM.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Brown each side of chops in skillet quickly.
[Alternative: Broil}
remove to an oven proof casserole dish.
Coat each side of chops with 1/2 tsp of mustard.
To cook in 350 oven for 30" or until done.

Meantime, in same skillet:over medium heat:
spray with PAM. Add Apple & Onion slices. Saute' until onion is lightly browned. reduce Heat.
Sprinkle with savory. Cover with lid and simmer until the pork chops are done.

Serve chops topped with apple-onion mixture, and sprinkle with chopped parsley.
