Trish's Banana Bread (Lo Fat/Whole Wheat)

Introduction

Great for using bananas on their last days! Great for using bananas on their last days!
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 cup white flour
    1 cup wheat flour
    1 tsp baking soda
    1/4 tsp salt
    1 tsp cinnamon
    1/4 tsp nutmeg

    1/4 c butter
    1/4 cup applesauce
    1/2 c sugar
    3/4 c brown sugar
    1 tsp vanilla
    2 eggs
    2.25 c mashed bananas (about 5 bananas)

Directions


Beat together butter and sugars. Mash bananas, beat eggs; add bananas, eggs, and vanilla to sugar/butter, mix lightly.

Stir together dry ingredients, and moist ingredients to dry, mixing until just barely moistened and still clumpy. Bake at 350 degrees, in greased mini muffins, mini bread, or 9x5 loaf pan until cooked, between 20, 30, and 40 minutes depending on size.
