Directions

Brown Hamburger with onions, and season salt. (Before adding the other ingredients. We like to rinse the hamburger to get off the excess fat) Add the tomatoes, black beans, northern beans, taco seasoning, and corn. Bring to a boil and simmer 10 minutes. This recipe makes 8 1-cup servings

Wow!! I am making some meals and freezing them in portions. This recipe makes a lot and I was a little worried that I would not really like it and be stuck eating it. Well, I was Wrong!!! It is delicious and I can't wait to have my lunch when it's Taco Soup day. - 8/27/07

  • This was very good. I added fresh onion and green peppers, homemade Mexican tomatoes (two quarts), Randall's beans and summer squash (since we have so many!). Husband and son both liked it. - 9/6/07

  • This was great! I loved it, my kids loved it, and it was easy to make my husband's burittos from the same meat-I just browned all the meat, and then portioned out some for him, and put the remaining in for us. Very easy to make! - 8/21/07

  • I kind of make this recipe. I only use two cans of pintos instead of different types of bean. I also add a can of stewed tomatoes and a can of milder rotel tomatoes. I also put in a packet of Hidden Valley Ranch ranch dressing mix. - 8/15/07
