IntroductionCinnamon Rolls made from 1/3 whole wheat dough Cinnamon Rolls made from 1/3 whole wheat dough
1/2 Recipe 60 Minute Rolls (see recipe on site)
1/3 cup brown sugar
3 T Smart Balance Spread
Cinnamon- 2 t or to taste
2 T wheat germ
Roll the dough out and spread it with softened or melted Smart Balance. Sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll it up into a long roll and slice into 12 individual rolls. Bake at 350 degrees until done.
I let them cool with wax paper lightly over the pan so they would be very soft and drizzled honey over them. For just a few added calories per pan it adds a lot of sweet gooey goodness.
