Apple Salad

Introduction

This is a simple way to dress up apples. Use it to top hot cereal in the morning, or all by itself. Best with tart apples, but any apples will do.

Also tastes great without the nuts.

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1 large apple, chopped
    1/4 cup walnuts, finely chopped
    1 1/2 tsp flax seed
    1 Tbl Sucanat, or brown sugar
    1 Tbl Wheat Germ
    1/4 tsp cinnamon
    juice from 1/4 of a medium lemon

Directions

Mix all ingredients together and enjoy. (If serving immediately, you can omit the lemon juice.)

Makes approximately 4, 3/4 cup servings.
