Sarah's Chewy Granola Bars

Introduction

Not the lowest-cal treat out there, but better than the store-bought kind, and my family just loves them. Not the lowest-cal treat out there, but better than the store-bought kind, and my family just loves them.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1/4 cup brown rice syrup
    1/4 cup honey
    1/4 cup almond butter
    3/4 cup dried cranberries and raisins
    1/4 cup sesame seed
    1/4 cup Cacao nibs
    1 cup rolled oats
    1 cup All Bran Buds

Directions

1. Melt brown rice syrup, honey and nut butter in a saucepan.
2. Add dried fruit, seeds, cereals and cacao nibs.
3. Stir and put into baking pan. Flatten and refrigerate for 1 hour, then cut into 12, 1" X 2" pieces.
