Chocolate Oat Cranberry Protein Bars

Introduction

Chocolate protein bars with oats, coconut and almond butter finished with cranberries. Chocolate protein bars with oats, coconut and almond butter finished with cranberries.
Number of Servings: 10

Ingredients

    1 c. rolled oats
    3/4 c. oat bran
    1/2 c. unsweetened coconut
    1/4 c. cocoa
    1/2 c. almond butter
    1/2 c. agave nectar
    1/2 tsp. almond extract
    1/2 c. Rainbow Light Food-Based Protein Energizer
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. dried cranberries

Directions

Mix together all ingredients. Shape into bars. Chill until firm. Makes 10 bars.

Tip: Toast the coconut for added flavor and use corsely ground almond butter.

I may be editing this recipe further to lower the calories as this was a first test run entered to see what kind of nutrition I ended up with using these ingredients.
