STUFFED PEPPERS

Ingredients

    5 BELL PEPPERS HALVED AND CLEANED
    1 LB EXTRA LEAN GROUND BEEF(BROWNED & DRAINED)
    1 1/2 CUPS COOKED WHITE RICE
    1 MEDIUM ONION CHOPPED
    2 CLOVES GARLIC MINCED
    1 CUP HUNTS SPAGHETTI SAUCE
    1/4 CUP PARMESAN

Directions

PREHEAT OVEN TO 350. HALVE LENGTHWISE AND CLEAN PEPPERS. FILL LARGE POT WITH WATER AND SALT, AND BRING TO BOIL. ADD PEPPERS, REDUCE HEAT TO MEDIUM AND COOK 3-5 MINUTES. REMOVE AND DRAIN. BROWN GROUND BEEF AND DRAIN. ADD ONION AND GARLIC AND CONTINUE COOKING 5 MINUTES, UNTIL ONION IS TENDER. ADD RICE, SPAGHETTI SAUCE, CHEESE AND SALT AND PEPPER TO TASTE. PUT IN BAKING DISH, ADD A LITTLE WATER TO BOTTOM OF PAN. COVER AND BAKE FOR 30 MINUTES, SPRINKLE WITH EXTRA PARMESAN IF YOU'D LIKE.
