Introduction

I started making this years ago; my husband loves it! I was so excited to realize it was "clean." I've modified a recipe from one out of a cookbook we received when we opened our first checking account as a married couple. I started making this years ago; my husband loves it! I was so excited to realize it was "clean." I've modified a recipe from one out of a cookbook we received when we opened our first checking account as a married couple.
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    2 pounds fresh green beans
    1 cup sliced black olives
    1/2 cup walnuts
    2 cloves garlic, crushed
    1 teaspoon kosher salt
    1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
    1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
    1 teaspoon basil, dried
    1 cup olive oil
    fresh black pepper

Directions

Cook green beans in salted water for approximately 8 minutes or until just crisp-tender. Quickly rinse with cold water to stop cooking. Combine garlic, salt, vinegar, mustard, basil, oil and pepper. Combine beans, olives, walnuts and toss with dressing.
