Breakfast Muffin Remix

Introduction

Not your ordinary breakfast muffin. Not your ordinary breakfast muffin.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    2 cups whole wheat flour
    1 cup self-rising flour
    2 eggs
    1 1/3 cup reduced fat (2%) milk
    3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
    6 Jennie-o turkey sausage links
    1/2 tsp black pepper
    1/4 cup green bell pepper, red bell pepper, and sweet onion
    2 oz canned mushrooms
    1/2 cup Kraft 2% mild cheddar cheese, shredded

Directions

Saute turkey sausage, green and red peppers, onion, mushroom, and black pepper in pan. Mix both flours with eggs, oil, and milk. Stir in sausage mixture from pan and add cheese. Prepare muffin pan. Bake at 400 for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
