Bison Meatloaf

Introduction

Uses ground bison (buffalo) instead of ground beef. Uses ground bison (buffalo) instead of ground beef.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1.5 pounds ground bison
    1/2 Cup long-cooking ground oats
    1/2 Cup tomato puree
    Spices to taste

Directions

-Preheat oven to 350 deg. F.
-Lightly spray loaf pan with olive oil cooking spray.
-Mix ground bison, tomato puree and oats in a large bowl.
-Place in oiled loaf pan.
-Bake at 350 deg. F for about 45 minutes, or until done.
-Slice into 8 pieces

Makes 8 servings of 1 slice each.
