Crockpot Chicken and Dumplins (1c serv.)

Number of Servings: 6


    3 frozen chicken breasts
    1 can Cream of Chicken Soup
    1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
    1.5 canfuls of water
    Onion flakes/powder to taste
    1 large can of mixed vegetables
    1 pkg refrigerated biscuits

Spray crock pot with cooking spray to reduce sticking.

Place chicken breasts on bottom of crockpot and cover with soups, water, onion and mixed veggies.

Mix around a bit to combine.

Cut biscuits into quarters and put into crockpot and mix in.

Cook on low for 8 hours. Stir well to shred the chicken and ready to serve!

Makes 6 servings (approx 1 cup each).

  • I am going to need to tweek this a bit because this old body can't handle that much sodium but I am going to use some reduced sodium soups & frozen veggies and it should work out well. Thanks for the ideas! I can't wait to try it. - 5/5/09

    I just made it for the first time IS kinda salty. Also, I think next time around I'll be putting the dumplings in about halfway through or later. That, or not stir them in.
