Easy Ham and Cheese Quiche

Introduction

Make this lighter by using your favorite low fat cheese and substituting vegetables for the ham. Make this lighter by using your favorite low fat cheese and substituting vegetables for the ham.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 9 in. prepared, unbaked pie crust
    1 c. skim milk
    4 eggs
    .25 tsp mustard powder
    .25 tsp salt
    1/8 tsp. ground pepper
    .5 cup fontina cheese
    4 slices of deli ham, cut into small pieces

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Place pie crust in 9" pie pan. Beat eggs with a fork and whisk in milk, mustard powder, salt, and pepper. Spread ham and cheese evenly in the bottom of the pie crust. Slowly pour egg mixture over ham and cheese. Bake quiche for 40 to 45 minutes. Makes 8 slices.
