Yummy Turkey Stuffed Peppers

Introduction

I love Stuffed peppers but wanted to make them healthier. So I experimented and came up with this recipe. It's quick and easy, but o so yummy. Ingredients

    6 small to Medium Bell peppers
    1 package Jennie o Extra Lean Ground Turkey Breast(1.25lbs)
    1 bag of Success Boil-in-Bag Jasmine Rice
    1 jar Barilla Roasted Garlic with imported Olive
    sauce(or any other 60 per 1/2 c)
    1/2c. Grated Parmesan-divided
    1tbsp of following:garlic powder,basil,thyme,
    oregano,rosemary,onion
    powder,pepper,and salt
    1tsp nutmeg
    1tsp majorim

Directions

Preheat oven to 350
Cut tops off bell peppers and pull ribs out. Cut up any pieces from the tops that can be used. Brown turkey and peppers pieces, and all the spices together. In the mean time following rice directions, cook rice and drain. In a bowl combine turkey mixture with rice,1/2c. of Barillia sauce, and 1/2 of the parmesan. Microwave peppers for 30 seconds to help soften, if you like softer peppers. Stuff peppers full and mounded on top. Pour rest of the jar sauce on top. Sprinkle rest of parmesan on top of peppers and sauce.
Bake in an oven dish sprayed with Olive Oil cooking spray for 30 min.
