Introduction

This recipe is from my late step-mom. Everything she made was always yummy and this in one of my favs she made and showed me how to make. This recipe is from my late step-mom. Everything she made was always yummy and this in one of my favs she made and showed me how to make.
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    3 bunches scallions, chopped
    5 carrots, cut into strips
    1 large onion, finely chopped
    1 handful pea pods (snap peas)
    1/2 cup lite soy sauce
    3/4 cup water
    2 tablespoons sugar
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1 lb lean steak, cut into strips


Directions

Brown meat in skillet with olive oil. Once browned, add soy sauce, water and sugar and blend until sugar is dissolved. Add carrots and cook for five minutes. Add remaining vegetables and cook for five minutes.
Remove from heat.
Cover pan and let set for about five to ten additional minutes.

Serve over white or brown rice.

Yields about 6 servings.
