Italian bean salad

Introduction

My grandma use to make this all the time, it is my absolute favorite, corse nobody makes it like grandma. Its awsome with fresh home grown tomatoes and herbs. Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    Tomatoes
    Garbonzo beans
    Red onion
    Garlic
    EVOO
    Balsamic vinager
    salt & pepper
    Fresh or dried basil (and/or any other herbs you would like to use)

Directions

Cut up Tomatoes into slices or wedges, dice onion, chop garlic and put all into a bowl. Open the can of beans, rinse, and add to the bowl.

Mix (I use an old jar with a lid) the EVOO, Vinager, herbs and salt and pepper together. **If you are using a jar with a lid, dump it all in, put the lid on, and shake, shake, shake your bootie.

Pour dressing over veggies and let sit for a bit. The longer it sets the stronger the flavor.
