the bomb pineapple chicken

Introduction

chicken in a pineapple sauce chicken in a pineapple sauce
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    -4lbs boneless skinless chicken breast, cut into morsels
    -large can of pineapple juice
    -about a tbsp of corn starch
    -pinch of salt, pepper, and onion powder

Directions

this makes about 4 servings


- take about half of your pineapple juice and pour it into a saucepan with the chicken morsels, and boil it over medium heat until cooked all the way through
- remove the chicken from the saucepan and strain the pineapple juice
- let the chicken cool for about 5-10 minutes
- while the chicken is cooling, pour the strained pineapple juice into a small boiler with the corn starch and bring it to a boil (your basically just thickening the juice into a sauce) you can also add pineapple chucks in there too but thats preferential
- after your chicken has cooled put it back in a dry pan on high to sear the meat just a little for effect and to give it a grilled/fried look. add salt, pepper and onion poweder at this time
- serve chicken with about 3-4 tbsp of pineapple sauce poured over the chicken
