Ingredients

    1# ground veal
    2 links each hot & sweet italian sausage, sliced
    12 shadybrook farms turkey meatballs
    3 slices bacon
    1 large onion, chopped
    2 medium carrots, sliced
    2 large baby zucchini, sliced
    1 tBsp smart balance oil
    6 cloves garlic, minced
    2 28 oz. cans diced tomato
    3 28 oz. cans crushed tomato
    1 can tomato paste
    5 oz. red wine
    2 tBsp balsamic vinegar
    2 tBsp basil
    1tBsp oregano
    24 oz hodgson mill tri color spirals (wheat)

Directions

makes 12 servings

cook bacon in stock pot, drain grease and blot. dice and save aside. add ground veal to same pot, brown and drain liquid. add in chopped sausages, saute 5-10 min. add onion and garlic, saute 5 min. add zucchini and carrot, saute 5 min. add remaining ingredients and chopped bacon, simmer 3 hours. serve over 2 oz. pasta and top with parmesan.
