Introduction

I use organic liver and organic onions. This is one of my Nourishing Traditions recipes to help me use organ meat at least once a week. Very good! I use organic liver and organic onions. This is one of my Nourishing Traditions recipes to help me use organ meat at least once a week. Very good!

Ingredients

    8 oz. or organic liver
    2 T. coconut oil (sometimes I use 3)
    1 organic Vidalia onion (cut in slices)
    1/2 cup whole wheat flour

Directions

Dip liver in flour and put in iron skillet with coconut oil melted in it. Add the onion after the liver is almost done, browning to the point you like them! Salt and pepper to taste while frying the liver. Yummy!
