I DIDN'T USE THE WHOLE WHEAT NOODLES, OR LOWFAT CHEESES, WHICH WOULD BRING THE CALORIES WAY DOWN IN THIS RECIPES. SO DO IT THE WAY YOU LIKE IT. THIS WAY IS 510 CALORIES i DID ONE LAYER AND 15 SERVINGS. CALORIES 510 PER SERVING. I DIDN'T USE THE WHOLE WHEAT NOODLES, OR LOWFAT CHEESES, WHICH WOULD BRING THE CALORIES WAY DOWN IN THIS RECIPES. Ingredients

    * Ground beef, lean, 32 oz
    * Ricotta Cheese, whole milk, 1.5 cup
    * Cottage Cheese, Nonfat, 2.5 cup (not packed)
    * Parmesan Cheese, shredded, 8 tbsp
    * Mozzarella Cheese, part skim milk, 16 oz
    * Onions, raw, 1 cup, chopped
    * Green Peppers (bell peppers), 1 cup, chopped
    * Tomato Paste, 1 can (6 oz)
    * Olive Oil, 6 tbsp
    * Tomato Sauce, 1 cup
    * Egg, fresh, 2 large
    * Garlic powder, 2 tsp
    * Garlic, 2 tsp MINCED
    * *Onion powder, 2 tsp
    * *Pasta, Lasagna Noodles, 16 oz

Directions

START A POT OF WATER BOILING FOR THE NOODLES. WHEN BOILING PUT THE NOODLES IN AND BOIL UNTIL TENDER.
IN A HOT SKILLET BROWN THE GROUND BEEF. SPRINKLE HALF THE ONION POWDER AND GARLIC POWDER ON THE MEAT. STRAIN THE GREASE OUT OF IT WHEN IT IS DONE. IN THE SAME SKILLET POUR IN 2 TABLESPOONS OF OLIVE OIL AND BROWN THE ONIONS, BELL PEPPERS AND MINCED GARLIC. STIR OFTEN WHEN BROWNED DOWN, STIR IT IN WITH THE MEAT.
IN THE SAME SKILLET POUR IN 2 TABLESPOONS OF O.OIL AND DUMP IN SMALL CAN OF TOMATO PASTE. STIR AROUND IN THE OIL. IT IT STARTS TO STICK SOME. POUR IN 1 SUGAR SUBSTITUTE PACKET, STIR. POUR IN TWO CAN OF THE BOILING WATER FROM THE NOODLES. STIR. POUR THE MEAT MIXTURE BACK IN THE SAUCE, STIR LET SAUCE THICKEN THEN TURN OFF.
WHEN NOODLES ARE TENDER POUR HOT HOT WATER. RUN COOL WATER OVER THEM TO COOL THEM OFF.
IN A BOWL POUR ALL THE CHEESES IN, EXCEPT THE MOZZARELLA , ,IX IT UP AND THEN BREAK IN THE EGGS AND MIX WELL. . SET ASIDE.
IN A LONG PAN LAY THE NOODLES I LIKE TO LAY HALF IN THE PAN AND HALF OUT AND GO ALL THE WAY AROUND THE PAN. THEN PUT A LAYER OF THE MEAT THEN A LAYER OF THE MOZZARELLA CHEESE,THEN THE CHEESE MIXTURE AND THEN THAT'S ONE LAYER IF YOU USED A SMALLER PAN YOU CAN MAKE ANOTHER LAYER. I USE A LONG PAN AND DO 1 LAYER AND GET 15 SERVINGS. THE CALORIES AND STUFF WERE FIGURED UP BY GETTING 15 SERVINGS. BUT YOU DO IT THE WAY YOU LIKE IT. AFTER YOU ARE DONE WITH YOUR LAYER LAYERS THEN FINISH OFF WITH MORE NOODLES AND ON TOP USE THE REST OF THE MOZZARELLA CHEESE. PUT IN THE OVER ON 350* FOR ABOUT 45 MINS. LET COOL. CUT INTO SERVING SIZES. THIS FREEZES WELL TOO. ENJOY!!
