Lou's Vegetables & beef Soup

Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb. ground chuck
    1 cup chopped onions
    1 Tbsp. garlic powder
    salt to taste
    1 can rotel tomatoes
    1 14.5 oz. can green beans
    1 6 oz. can tomato paste
    1 pkg. Pictsweet vegetables for gumbo
    4 medium russett potatoes (white) cubed
    4 cups of water

Directions

Put the last eight ingredients in dutch oven and bring to boil. While that is cooking brown ground chuck and onion and strain ,then add to vegetables in dutch oven. Cook until vegetables are tender, about 30 minutes.
(can also add can of whole kernel corn)
