750 g round steak
2 tablespoons plain flour
500g chopped fresh or tinned tomatoes
2 large green capsicums, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
0.5 tsp dried oregano
0.5 tsp dried thyme
0.5 tsp salt
1 cup stock, beef
Heat oil in saucepan and brown the meat.
Mix tomatoes, capsicum, onion, garlic, oregano, thyme, salt, and stock and pour over meat.
Cook slowly until tender.
Skim any fat from sauce before serving.
Serves about 3.
