Dave's Sesame Chicken

Number of Servings: 3

Ingredients

    1 clove garlic, minced
    1 Tsp fresh ginger, minced
    1 medium onion, rough chopped
    3 Large Chicken Breasts, about 10-12 oz each, sliced thin
    Splash chicken broth
    1 Tbsp Honey Substitute
    1 Tbsp Sesame Oil
    2 Tbsp Splenda
    2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
    1 Tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
    1/4 cup chicken broth
    1 Tbsp cornstarch
    Sesame seeds
    2 Tbsp sliced almonds

Directions

1. Spray pan liberally with cooking spray
2. Saute garlic and ginger, add onion, saute all together. Remove from pan, cover to keep warm
3. Add chicken slices and splash of chicken broth to pan. Cover and cook over medium heat till no longer pink
4. Turn up heat, stir chicken until brown and liquid is cooked off. Add back in the garlic, ginger and onion. Stir.
5. Add honey substitute, sesame oil, splenda, soy sauce, vinegar. Cook and stir till bubbly.
6. Make a roux out of the chicken broth and cornstarch. Add to pan. Stir until thickened.
7. Add sesame seeds and almonds, stir, cover and let simmer 3-4 minutes.
8. Serve with a sprinkly of sesame seeds over the top
