Bran Muffins

Introduction

Put oats, shredded wheat and all bran in a bowl. Pour 2 cups boiling water on the top and cover with a lid. Let sit for 10 minutes. Mix all other ingredients together. Mix in cereal mixture.     baking soda

Directions

    2 cups quick oats 2 cups shredded wheat (smashed) 2 cups all-bran Combine in bowl with lid pour two cups boiling water on top of it. Mix put lid on let sit 10 min. In mixer put 1 cup shortening 3 cup sugar 4 eggs 5 cup flour 1 tsp salt 5 tsp soda 1quart buttermilk, add cereal mix and mix well
