Introduction

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    2 cups (dry) elbow macaroni
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 cup chopped onions
    1/2 cup chopped green peppers
    2 cloves garlic, minced
    2 T. olive oil
    15 oz. can tomato sauce
    ground black pepper to taste, optional

Directions

Saute onions, peppers and garlic in olive oil until tender. Break up and add ground beef and cook until no longer pink. Add tomato sauce and black pepper if desired and simmer for 10 minutes.
In the meantime, boil water for macaroni, cook according to package directions and drain. Add to the meat and sauce mixture.
Makes six 1 1/4 cup servings
