Honey Whole Wheat Bread

Ingredients

    Wet Ingredients
    1 c. warm water
    2/3 c. honey
    1 tsp yeast

    Dry ingredients
    3 c. unbleached bread flour
    1 c. whole wheat flour
    1 tbsp salt

Directions

Mix warm water, honey and yeast together and let proof for 15 minutes. Meanwhile, mix together your dry ingredients.

Mix together wet and dry ingredients in a large bowl and then knead for 10 minutes until elastic. Place in an oiled bowl and let rise for 1 ~ 2 hours. Punch down, shape into loaf. Let rise for 30 minutes ~ 1 hour. Bake in a preheated 350F oven for 25 ~ 30 minutes until a rich golden brown. Remove from oven and let sit for 10 ~ 15 minutes before slicing and serving.
