Introduction

A delectable Norwegian treat. They are crisp little cookies that I happened across while helping my son with a Norway Project at school. A delectable Norwegian treat. They are crisp little cookies that I happened across while helping my son with a Norway Project at school.
Number of Servings: 40

Ingredients

    3 Eggs (1 whole, 2 yolks)
    3/4 cup flour
    2 tbsp halved almonds
    3/4 cup of sugar
    1/4 tsp baking powder

Directions

makes 40 cookies

Whisk two egg yolks and one whole egg with sugar until the mixture is light and creamy. Sift flour with baking powder ad fold into the mixture.

Spoon dough onto a greased sheet and decorate with almond halves. Bake for 12 minutes (no more!!) at 325/170

*If using a dark cookie sheet, cookie time may need to be reduced by a minute or so.
