Black Bean & Brown Rice Veggie Burgers

Introduction

Great taste with lots of texture. Serve with your favorite toppings as a sandwich or serve alone with a side of veggies for dinner. Great taste with lots of texture. Serve with your favorite toppings as a sandwich or serve alone with a side of veggies for dinner.

Ingredients

    In mini food processor or chopper, add onion, carrots, red peppers, & garlic; pulse leaving in larger chunks. Grind up your black beans & your cooked brown rice to your desired texture, I prefer them a little chunkier. Put all ingredients in bowl mixing in flax seed, basil, steel cut oats & regular oats; refrigerate a couple hours before cooking so they stay together.

Directions

Add 1 Tbls of Extra Virgin Olive Oil to pan, add pattied out burger cooking on medium temperature for approximately 5 minutes on each side or until browned and crunchy. Makes 8 - 4" patties. Enjoy!!
