I plan to add a vegetarian "sausage" for protein (Morningstar: (vege) Sausage Patties - crumbled on top.

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 TBL Sesame OIl
    1 Cup Sliced onions
    6 cups Cabbage, shredded 1/4" thick
    1 TBL SoySauce
    1/8 TSP Garlic Powder
    1/4 TSP Ground Ginger
    1 TSP Better than Bouillon (veg broth)
    2 TBL Water

Directions

Heat oil in large skillet over medium heat.
Add onions and cook until tender, ~ 5 mins.
Reduce heat to low, add cabbage.

In a small bowl, combine remaining ingredients. Pour over cabbage.

Cook, covered, until cabbage is tender, about 20 mins. Stir occasionally while cooking.
