2-3/4 C Flour 1 tsp baking soda 1 tsp salt 2 tsp vanilla extract 1-1/2 C shortening or butter 3 C brown sugar, packed 4 eggs, unbeaten 8 C corn flakes
Measure flour, add salt and soda. Sift again. Cream vanilla and shortening. Gradually add brown sugar, cream until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. Add flour, mix thoroughly. Fold in cereal. Drop onto baking sheet, in heaping teaspoon size. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
