Introduction

Mixes salty and sweet flavors. A bit hit for an appetizer! Requires overnight (6-8 hours) refrigeration. Mixes salty and sweet flavors. A bit hit for an appetizer! Requires overnight (6-8 hours) refrigeration.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 block reduced fat cream cheese (8oz.), softened
    1/4 C (8-10) marachino cherries, chopped
    1/8 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 T powered sugar
    1/2 C chopped pecans

    Serve with cinnamon sugar pita chips, pretzel crisps or honey cinnamon flatbread (not included in nutritional count)


Directions

Mix together all ingredients except pecans. Let sit in refrigerator for 1-2 hours to harden, shape into a ball by rolling into wax paper. Sit overnight in refrigerator. Before serving roll or place pecans on the outside of the ball.
