Ingredients

1 bag of 1 % milk (In Southern Ontario, Canada our milk comes in 3 bag containing 4 liters - equivalent 5.86 cups)
    1/2 C skim milk powder
1/4 C low fat yogurt - room temperature(saved from your last batch or use a good quality commercial brand to start)

Directions

Heat milk on stove top to a temperature of 180-200F. Add in milk powder, mix well. Let cool to 110-120 F. Put boiling water into your thermos to warm it up. Add a small amount (1/4 C) of warm milk to the yogurt to bring to equal temperature with the remaining milk. Mix warmed yogurt into milk. Remove water from thermos. Add milk/yogurt mixture to thermos. Leave thermos undisturbed for 4 hours then refrigerate. Remember to save a 1/4 C to start your next batch.
