Introduction

Easy and delicious chili recipe. This is great served alone or on top of a potato. Easy and delicious chili recipe. This is great served alone or on top of a potato.
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    2 lbs extra lean ground beef or turkey
    1 large onion, chopped
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    2 cans tomato paste (6 oz)
    2 cans petite diced tomatoes
    1 can black beans, rinsed and drained
    2 cups water
    2 tsp chili powder
    2 tsp salt
    1 tsp ground cumin
    1 tsp oregano
    1/4 tsp red cayenne pepper

Directions

Brown meat in large sauce pan. Add onion and garlic and cook for about 2-3 minutes. Add all remaining ingredients and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer as long as desired. The longer you simmer, the better the flavors!
