Cottage Cheese and Apples

Submitted by: BESEVEN

Introduction

This is the easiest thing in the world to make, and it's filling, healthful, nutritious, and low-calorie. What more could you want? Also due to the healthful benefits of cinnamon, my cholesterol and blood sugar both normalized after only a month of eating this for breakfast most days. It may look weird or sound gross, but trust me, if you like apple pie type desserts, the odds are good that you'll like this. Ingredients

    1/2 Cup Nonfat Cottage Cheese
1 Dole Fruit Cup Diced Apples,
1 tsp. Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp

Directions

Dump the ingredients in a bowl, and stir well. That's it. These are the proportions that I like, but it might be too cinnamony for some people. You can always add a little more cottage cheese if it is, and remember to reduce your cinnamon the next time you make it. If you find it's too sweet, or you don't like the slightly soupy consistency, you can mix in half a cup of Cheerios (no milk!) to thicken it and minimize the sweetness. Just remember to add that to your nutrition tracker if you do! ;-)
