8 oz chicken breast
8 oz lowfat cream cheese
8 oz chopped frozen spinach
2 garlic cloves or 1 large
1/4 cup FF Mozzarella Shredded
1/4 cup Parmesan
2 TBSP Hormel Bacon Bits
2 Packages Pillsbury Crescent Rolls Lowfat
While cooking chicken, mix together softened cream cheese, garlic, drained spinach, milk, parmesan, mozzarella and bacon bits. Finely chop chicken breast using a food chopper, add to cheese/spinach mixture.
Preheat oven to 375°.
Tear off crescent rolls into rectangles and seal perforations. Roll flat, and try to make a square (rectangles are fine too). Using a large scoop (ice cream scoop size) scoop mixture and place in center of the square. Bring opposite corners together to form the top and pinch all the openings together, give the top a little twist. Brush with egg white before cooking. You can also sprinkle on a little parmesan if desired.
Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown on either a cookie sheet or baking stone. Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving.
1 poof per person. You will have 8 poofs made from 16 crescent rolls.
Number of Servings: 8
